We may wish away the remainder of 2020, but this year of horrors will not end with politics, COVID, or racism.
Christmas will bring redemption hope to all.
He’s the Lamb who was given
Slain for our pardon
His promise is peace

@Paul53605168 @ProvisionistP Exactly, in order for an unbeliever to understand their need for mercy through the preached word - this understanding has to come by the Holy Spirit which gives understanding concerning the expressed Word of God. The Word of God only discerned by the Holy Spirit "within man".
It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.
(1 Tim. 1:15 NAS95)
@DrOakley1689@Soteriology101@leightonflowers The one that comes to Christ has been granted/enabled to come by the ABILITY to hear and learn from the Father because of the Spirit. And those that has been granted/enabled to come will NEVER be cast out by the Son and ultimately given eternal life and raised up on the last day.
@DrOakley1689@Soteriology101@leightonflowers The same one that comes to Christ (6:37) is the same one that is drawn by the Father (6:44). In both instances the one who comes and is drawn is inevitably raised up on the last day!
@DrOakley1689@Soteriology101@leightonflowers The mere fact Christ will NEVER cast out the one drawn by the Father who was given to Him and will inevitably grant them eternal life and raise the same one up on the last day unquestionably makes the Father's drawing EFFECTUAL - there's no way around this certainty!
@paparoto9 @Flame314 This is where your doctrines goes astray. Jesus does not intercede for everyone only his sheep. You won't find any Scripture Jesus interceding for everyone!
@paparoto9 @Flame314 The text says Christ died for everyone, but the author of Hebrews qualifies who the everyone is - those whom Christ suffered death for. The Elect, just as much as the non elect deserve the wrath of God but ULTIMATELY the Elect are NOT destined for wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
