Totally disgusted right now, feels like they totally punted this game down only two runs, pulling degrom after only 86 pitches and going to a reliever who has not been good at all since coming off the il. #mets #lgm #lfgm

@MetsAvenue Also, why wasn’t he brought out for the 7th? Again not at his best but I like my chances better at getting a scoreless 7th from degrom than megill. It’s game 157, why they still babying him?

@LtDan__IceCream Exactly, maybe he does give up a run, but I have way more confidence that he coulda pitched a scoreless 7th and kept this a 2 run game than megill, who at this point prolly won’t even make the playoff roster.

Did they say why degrom came out after just 86 pitches? It’s game 157 and the division is on the line, you don’t need to baby him anymore. Also trust degrom not as his best way more than megill. #mets #lgm #lfgm
