The equivalent in statistics would be revealing the average, but hiding the median and distribution.

Try to set up some rules when trading that you never break. e.g. Never put more than 10% of your portfolio in one position. Decide on every setup what your risk ratio is. e.g. 4:1 = profit take at 20% up, stop loss at -5%. That setup needs a 25% win rate

@tsoding I actually switched twice. In the early 2010s we switched our entire codebase from postfix to prefix and the our benchmarks showed some improvement. Recently I read Game Engine Architecture and the author said that modern optimizers handle everything better now so I switched back
