Our team needs this look. Imagine the bee-striped high socks with the kneepads. It would be a whole new game #30sStyleBasketball

I mean, today we still have some pretty crazy ads, but I guess it's good that we don't say smoking is awesome because it makes you skinny

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

I can't believe people bought into this stuff back in the 1930s. The ad project helped show how crazy it was #30sAds

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

They even were dressed up for their mugshots. How nice #30sMugshots

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

A lot of popular haircuts and things like that nowadays even kind of allude back to the 30s which is intersting #30sStylesToday

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

I feel like women dressed completely different in the 30s, but men havent really changed much. The suit and tie look seems to be coming back

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

@SamMVerdell1102 Most of the guys names seemed pretty average but the girl's names were interesting haha #30sNames

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

They definitely didnt favor women. I mean some of them are like "Show her that this is a man's world" Good things those are gone #30sAds

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

There were some crazy ads back in the 30s that would totally not be allowed today. But then again things from today wouldn't be allowed then

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

Maybe they just never got distracted. Maybe things just got done. Or maybe it was actually worse. Who knows... #30sClass #30sDistractions

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

It's hard to stay off of Twitter and Reddit while working on this portfolio. I wonder what distracted people in the 1930s #1102Porfolio

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

Apparently these were the original LOTR covers never to be used until the 50th anniversary editions. Kind of cool

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

The Hobbit was released by one of my all time favorite authors in 1937, and I'm going to the second movie at midnight next week. #30sToNow

[Achilles @AchiIIes_Heel]

In 1932, the parking meter was invented. I bet a lot of people would rather Carl Magee hadn't done that...

Maybe that's why I've met a lot of old people named Robert... #30sMostPopularName

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

Hey check it out, my name was the number one male name in the 1930s. Where does your name rank? http://t.co/SwsvxVB1Qb

[Robert @BorowiczEng1102]

The music of the 1930s wasn't really my style at all, but I it probably did eventually inspire music I listen to today #30sMusic

A cool look at someones drawing from the 30s of what the future would be like #FutureAsSeenInThe30s
