Lessons from the Olympics
1. Run your race, don’t run somebody else’s
2. Time and chance happen to them all
3. Standards and Procedures are good but they are human as well (IOC)
4. God will always be God
What it means to make your first final at the #Olympics , especially after the 100m ordeal.

NATIONAL RECORD - the Nigerian quartet of Samuel Ogazi, Ella Onojuvwevwo, Emmanuel Ifeanyi Ojeli and Patience Okon-George came very close to making the final of the Mixed 4x400m, running a brilliant race to finish 4th in their heat, running a new Nigerian Record of 3:11.99.
They just narrowly missed out on a place in the final, but they did put up a good show, running against Great Britain who won in an NR of 3:10.61. Netherlands finished 2nd in a time of 3:10.81 and Italy 3rd in 3:11.59.
