The popular thinking in NATO is that bringing the war to Russia will force Russia to capitulate. This is based on the false assumption that Russia is fighting an "unprovoked" imperial war. Moscow considers itself to be fighting a defensive war against a NATO determined to use Ukrainians to destroy Russia. From Russia's perspective, a ceasefire is not peace as NATO countries would then send in their troops and military hardware. NATO in Ukraine is considered an existential threat, and the only possible response now for Russia is escalation that may take us to nuclear war. This should be obvious. Sadly, our freedom of speech is in free fall and our populations have been indoctrinated to squeal "Russian propaganda" whenever an argument deviates from NATO-approved narratives
Dmitry Medvedev's commentary on Pavel Durov's arrest:
"Once, quite a long time ago, I asked Durov why he did not want to cooperate with law enforcement agencies on serious crimes. “This is my principled position,” he said. “Then there will be serious problems in any country,” I told him.
He decided that his biggest problems were in Russia, and he left, and then also received citizenship/residence permits in other countries. He wanted to be a brilliant "man of the world" who lives well without a homeland. Ubi bene ibi patria!
He miscalculated. For all our common enemies now, he is Russian – and therefore unpredictable and dangerous . Of a different blood. Definitely not Musk or Zuckerberg (who, by the way, actively cooperates with the FBI). Durov needs to finally understand that one does not choose one’s Fatherland, just like one does not choose one’s times…"
🇪🇺 Chat Control has passed 😔
They can and will now legally scan any person's messages, emails and photos you send without a warrant
The way they passed this law when the majority of the European Parliament was against it will shock you:
They waited until most EP members were on holiday so only a few were present and then created an "urgent" vote for it to pass it through
There's nothing democratic about any of it and big powerful forces are behind this that can manipulate the EU for whatever they want
Democracy in Europe died a bit today 😔
Finland has lifted its ban on hosting nuclear weapons. What does that change for the Finns? Just one minor thing: their country is now on Russia's nuclear target list. Rejoice, Finland, you’ve reached peak security!

Germany’s leader Friedrich Merz, a multimillionaire who led the German arm of Wall Street giant BlackRock, is governing exactly as expected.
He is restricting worker access to sick leave, in the name of increasing competitiveness. But the main reason the German economy is so uncompetitive is not worker protections; it's high energy prices.
Germany’s pro-war "Greens" successfully got the government to shut down its nuclear power plants (the greenest form of energy), and then they insanely opened coal plants (the dirtiest form of energy). (France gets c. 70% of its electricity from nuclear, and has significantly lower CO2 emissions per capita than Germany, and much cheaper electricity.)
Then Germany boycotted cheap Russian energy, and its NATO "allies" blew up the Nord Stream pipelines. Now Germany is importing expensive LNG from the US, and its manufacturing firms are shutting down factories, because high energy costs have made local manufacturing too expensive and uncompetitive.
Instead of solving that problem, Merz is blaming workers for taking sick leave.
British PMs are bad and worse and worst. A degenerative ratchet. The next one will be horrible. There is something deeply wrong with England itself. There is something deeply wrong with the whole West.
The postmodern democracy is a joke. All front figures are the pure fakes. Starmer or Trump or Macron are just actors. Nothing else. The real wight of their influence on the history is strictly zero. There is an iron invisible hand behind the curtain that does everything.
Votre purin. Votre petite soupe tiède et insipide.
Alors gardez vos explications.
Natalie Jaresko, a US-born American citizen working for the US State Department, including at the US embassy in Kiev, received Ukrainian citizenship following the NATO-backed coup in 2014 and immediately became the Finance Minister of Ukraine.
Salome Zourabichvili is a French citizen who served as the French ambassador to Georgia. Following the NATO-backed "Rose Revolution", Zourabichvili was granted Georgian citizenship (while still serving as the French ambassador to Georgia). Shortly thereafter, she left the job of France's ambassador to Georgia and took the job as Georgia's Foreign Minister. Later, she took the position of President of Georgia, and has since been a key advocate for allowing Georgia's civil society to be administered by Western "NGOs" financed by Western governments and cooperating with Western intelligence agencies. After holding the presidency, she went to work for the McCain Institute, where she advocates for more intervention, while in Georgia, the current political leadership warns about the West seeking to use these NGOs to topple their democratically elected government to open up another front against Russia.
The imperialist design is always celebrated as democracy, and the purge of the opposition is always celebrated in the West as fighting Russian interference. We cannot even have discussions in the West about the extent to which this supports or undermines our security - as all criticism is purged as "Kremlin talking points". In my opinion, Europe is committing suicide.
