Boson x402B - Commerce infrastructure for the agentic economy - is live on testnet!
By 2030, AI agents will run the internet. Agentic commerce will reach $5T (McKinsey).
x402B enables the exchange of any asset, of any value between any counterparty.
Mainnet coming 8 June 2026.

Boson started in the crypto winter of 2019. One question: how do two parties exchange value without trusting each other or a platform.
Five years building. Live in production since 2021. Five chains. WEF Tech Pioneer 2022.
The agent economy arrived. We're ready.

Pantera frames the convergence. a16z names the curve. Both point at the same missing piece β the one that turns agent payments into agent commerce.
We're shipping it in 6 days!
Pantera's @veradittakit makes the clearest case for the AI Γ crypto convergence: AI is abundance, blockchain is scarcity β two halves of one trend. Agents become the dominant economic actors, and they need native rails: fast, cheap, permissionless, 24/7.

One idea I keep coming back to is how AI is only half of the technological revolution.
The other half is the blockchain layer supporting the infrastructure agents.
This convergence is one of @PanteraCapital's highest-conviction research and investment themes right now. I outline this idea in the latest blog:

That's what we are launching on 8th June:
x402 enables micro-transactions between agents
Boson x402B extends that to any asset, any agent, any counterparty.

So many questions about x402B, we've added a Boson Agent to our site to field them.
Ask it anything, or let it help you add agentic commerce to your API, agent, or app, with x402B.
Trade any asset, for any value, with any counterparty, no trust required.
x402 + escrow = x402B.

How big does this get?
x402 covers the easy 10% (sub-cent payments to trusted sellers).
The other 90% (high-value, pseudonymous, multi-party, physical, asset-backed) needs escrow.
That's x402B's territory. McKinsey: $5T by 2030.

@DannyBolasie@kucoincom We're working on something where this could be quite useful. What happened to DeFi will happen to commerce - financial assets went on-chain with strong commitments, now physical assets can too.
For builders:
Agent dev: x402B drops into your payment flow.
API dev: add scheme: "escrow" to your accepts[] array.
Vanilla x402 clients keep working. Agent clients get the secure path.

What can you do with x402B?
Digital goods: APIs, datasets, software, licences.
Knowledge work: designs, contracts, deliverables.
Physical goods: real-world logistics.
High-value assets: tokenised RWAs.

x402B technical stack: three components.
Open scheme. Any escrow can adopt the wire format.
Boson Diamond contract for escrow, dispute resolution, redeemable NFT.
Agent-native interfaces. nextActions envelope, machine-readable.

Agent commerce = $5T by 2030 (McKinsey)
But agents need the infra to transact safely.
