The great victory won on 30 August 1922 took its place in history as one of the unique epics of our glorious nation. Not just for us; the orientation of all humanity toward freedom and salvation has raised the hopes of living upright and dignifiedly behind this great victory,

which was won under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK and which was the most crucial factor in the success of our war of independence, the love of liberty and freedom of our nation, as well as the courage and sacrifice of our heroic army.
