Played Belmont's Curse on Switch 2 handheld, and man, that whip feels so good. I went in excited. Now I can't wait!

@YoTrowa@deon_lt Dude, if you havenโt tried the demo yet, I highly recommend it, especially since your progress carries over to the main game. It was fantastic, and honestly, itโs shaping up to be one of the better Final Fantasy games in a while.
GTA 6 has me wanting to pull over and just see what happens. Give me a world worth getting distracted in!

I hadn't heard of this game, but now I'm going to have to check it out! Glad these are optional little stories. Sometimes I just want to spend more time with a party member without another world-ending problem getting dragged into it. Give me a reason to care about them outside of battle.
@DualShockers Berseria comes to mind for me. It gets moving without making the opening feel like homework, then keeps adding things to the combat. I love a long JRPG, but I still want to have fun in the first evening.
@TwinSailsInt A metroidvania set in a futuristic Sao Paulo? That's a setting I'd love to get lost in. I'm already wondering how much of the city we'll get to explore vertically.
@PlayStationUK I absolutely loved Ghost of Tsushima, and now I get to play as Jin in a roguelike mode? Where do I sign up! This series just keeps giving me reasons to come back.
@JeffsJunkShop@IndieBandits Okay, now that's awesome! I could leave that running in the background while I โget some work doneโ lol. Iโll absolutely help spread the word on this too!
@JeffsJunkShop@IndieBandits Being able to set up our own scenario sounds like a good excuse to see how much trouble we can get ourselves into. Just saw the demo went up today too. Good timing, you've definitely got my attention!
@DeciMiel Oh man, I promise I wasn't trying to stress you out! I was genuinely curious about how it worked. I appreciate you taking the time to explain it, especially as a solo dev. Looking forward to seeing more of it! And of course because EDF is awesome
Not necessarily my nine favorite games, but nine that take me right back. Staying up way too late with friends, playing with my dad, or watching my older brother play. I look at these and remember who I was with just as much as the games themselves. Man, those were some good times.
Part 2 of the games that made me, me.
I knew I couldnโt fit them all into one post. These are a few more that left their mark on me, games tied to different times in my life, different memories, and countless hours Iโll never forget.
Half-Life, Red Alert, Myst, DOOM, Duke Nukem 3D, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Black & White, Battlefield 1942, StarCraft IIโฆ every one of them takes me back somewhere.
