Shear madness! This is what happens when you build a blame culture—no one takes responsibility for their fate. First, we blamed the whites; later on BEE tenderpreneurs now they turning around ! Thereafter, simple minds scapegoated fellow Africans and engaged in xenophobic attacks— blaming them for a host of ills including taking this, that, and the other! But as this latest episode makes plain, the problem is home grown! Owing to a failure to inculcate a culture of critical thinking and innovation. Instead we opted for a poor work ethic, and an entitlement culture built on consumerism! All this in the age of AI, where machines are replacing humans in the work space. Meanwhile, #SouthAfrica hosts the #G20, harbouring ambitions to project influence in #BRICS—against the backdrop of punitive sanctions and tariffs designed to protect a racist minority. And now this!!!?? Have we forgotten #Marikana! #Poverty is the enemy and building a new multipolar world based on the values of the Global South is our mission—not this! History will not be kind to us if we continue along these lines! What about the #AfCFTA are we ready to sabotage that too? To what end?
Today 13 years ago, Cyril Ramaphosa demanded concomitant action which led to the brutal massacre of Marikana workers who were asking for a better wage and working conditions.
13 years later, instead of honouring their families, he is spending R700 MILLION on a clownish Dialogue!
@justbongza As a white person I find this very disgusting that people can treat our fellow south africans especially black people this way. He will get what he deserves.
