I agree completely with this.

A workable solution would be to have a non-media seating section and let there be signs letting people know there would not be visuals taken from that section.

Announcements and notifications should also be made so newcomers know which seating area they prefer.

My biggest and most humbling lesson over the past 5 years has been the realisation that everything I was ever taught about the primacy of "the free market" and "capitalism" is pure oyibo propaganda.

In reality, the minute rich oyibo men like this stop winning in their own game of capitalism because somebody emerges who is simply better than them, they turn into 19th century protectionists who want to stop the other people from accessing and engaging with the "free market."

"Free market capitalism" is actually just a made-up buzzword created by rich white people to dress up their real economic ideology - oyibo supremacy at the expense of everybody else on the planet. The market is only "free" if white people are winning. Anything else is Communism.

The Chinese had the right idea after all - come up with your own economic model and do what works for you.

The lady circled came to my friends wedding and stole from them.

Apparently she lied to the event planner that she’s the wife’s sister, and lied to the couple that she works with the event planner 😭

She even had a vendor tag, so it made her legit.

She stole all the money the sprayed the couple and even stole the bride phone.
