Andrew Dutton played 4 years at Birmingham-Southern, leading them to the D3 College World Series before the school closed.
This year, he's been a graduate student/first base coach at Auburn. He homered in his first at-bat of the year. 👏 (🎥 : @ESPN)
𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: We’re making an official trading card of the Birmingham-Southern College baseball team.
Despite the college PERMANENTLY CLOSING, their baseball team has made the NCAA College World Series.
A portion of the proceeds from these cards will be given to the baseball program…(and we’re also giving some cards to the team to distribute to players, friends & family!)
Congrats, @BSCsports on the historic Cinderella run.
Birmingham-Southern College is shutting down on May 31st after 158 years
However, the baseball team just advanced to Super Regionals. If they move on to the D3 World Series, they’ll be playing for a school that doesn’t exist

Heavy heart today. But NOTHING can take away the great memories of not only the last 17 years I’ve been here but the amazing things the program did in the NAIA and Division 1 era prior. Thanks to ALL Alums from EVERY ear. I say this: JOB WELL DONE #notdoneyet
