@Biddibops@5WrightStuff Certainly did, our volunteer committee have raised in excess of £25k in 7 months, and installed a fantastic lighting display both in the town centre of Boston, and on all approaches to the town too!
Over the past few months, we have been running a competition with BTAC to find someone to turn on the towns Christmas lights. On Thursday, we announced the winners.

@spartasteve@BBCRadioLincs Unsure why @Bostonboro are to be called "disgraced"... we have received a substantial amount of support from officers and councillors, plus we have also been kindly donated £10k in match funding from BTAC. This project wouldn't have happened without BBC & BTAC.
One of Santa’s little helpers found an extra toy in Santa’s grotto last night, which wasn’t one of his!
If your child left a toy by mistake, please get in touch with Pauline at @bostonboro and let’s get this toy reunited with its owner! https://t.co/b3qvEyGygG
If any child lost a toy at last night’s Christmas event one was found in Santa’s Grotto.
If you think the toy could be your child’s please email [email protected] with a description of the toy and hopefully we can reunite it with its owner.
@Matthewthomasuk Thanks Matthew! We are delighted with the positive feedback we have received. A lot of hard work and effort has gone in to this by our dedicated team of volunteers, so to see and hear such enthusiastic responses is great!
@dotterel@mrdpa All our team have worked countless hours on this project to get Boston lit up! We’re grateful for your kind words to the group for the hard work that have put in.
@martinrblow @mrdpa Our team have worked hard over the past few weeks to bring the town back into the festive feeling and we hope we have done everyone proud. Thank you for your kind words!
