Criminal Defense Attorney with offices in Boston, Salem and Dedham. Dave Roberts’ steal of 2B was one of the greatest moments of my life. Karen Read is free!
It’s now been 25 years since I last spoke with Frank Doyle (1/28/62 - 9/11/01). His sister, Lynn, sent me this video this morning of my best-man toast at his wedding. I had never seen it before, it brought back great memories and I am prouder of this toast than of any closing argument I have ever done.
Four years after this joyous event he would be gone, on one of the worst days of my (and this nation’s) life. But Frank is not and never will be forgotten. 🙏
I was at that game, the most memorable one of my 57 year-old career of rooting for the Sox.
One memory, which I have never shared publicly:
As we entered the bottom of the ninth, seated below me in the first base boxes was a large Yankees fan wearing a Babe Ruth jersey. He stood up from his seat and taunted the crowd all around him, obviously believing that this night would be like all of the others. Mariano Rivera would come in, close the door, and we would suffer a sweep at the hands of the very team that had broken our hearts the year before and so many times before that. The park was quiet, so everyone in the area could hear him, including me from up above. Boy, I detested that guy.
Millar’s walk, Roberts’ steal, Mueller’s clutch single, Curtis Leskanic’s high-wire act and Papi’s dagger to end the game and we entered a new world.
Babe Ruth slinked out of Fenway with his tail between his legs and Sox fans experienced a lot of joy from that moment forward. What a special team, what a special night.
Caveat: I have represented many Yankees fans over the years and I love them like my other clients. 😁
@Yermoms_House Before the ninth ending, I turned to my buddy and asked if we should go. I did not want to see the Yankees celebrate on our field. Thank goodness he said we should stick it out and we did.
We have begun our fight against the injustice being perpetrated against our client, Boston Police Officer Nicholas O’Malley.
Legal fees will not be an issue for him, as our fees are very nearly completely covered at this point. But we will need to pay experts, whose fees will dwarf the fees our law firm is charging.
I expect that we will hold fundraisers to enlist the help of all of the public, including those wonderful people who are already supporting our cause. I will be back in touch with further information to let you know how you can contribute and participate, if you’re so inclined.
In the meantime, please check out this website, where you can purchase clothing to proudly announce that you’re on our team. Again, none of your contributions will go toward legal fees, but your support will allow us to mount a vigorous defense Thanks in advance for your consideration. #FreeOMalley

@_LOVEINVAIN@little_foot777@Jakesun55 Soon to be revealed as a big, fat nothing burger. A conspiracy theory crafted by airheads who are proven wrong time after time but continue to spout nonsense for clicks.
Oh ye of little knowledge… stay tuned. 😎
What an insightful point, clearly lost on the X warriors posting their hourly vitriol.
The answer to this rhetorical question is that no guilty person would ever do that. That would be crazy.
An innocent person would, however, as long as that person was also strong, courageous and ready to accept the results of an unbiased investigation.

@monk_understudy@bradfo@BBisntBoring Thanks for the tag. Payton Tolle is not only the ace of the Red Sox, he is also the ace of the Cardiac Kids (my fantasy team). And he is awesome. 😎
A criminal defense attorney says prosecutors in the Lindsay Clancy case made several missteps that "alienated" the jury and cost them credibility.
David Yannetti, a Boston defense attorney and legal analyst, told Fox News Digital the prosecution's approach failed to win over jurors and may help explain why the trial ended in a deadlock. Clancy's case ended in a mistrial this month after jurors could not reach a unanimous verdict.
Clancy faced three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of her children, Cora, Dawson and Callan. She did not dispute killing them but said she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. Prosecutors have not said whether they will retry her.
It’s past my bedtime, so no worries if you can’t stay up that late either, but I will be on @GowdyAmerica with @TGowdySC on @FoxNews tonight sometime between 9 and 10 PM ET.
Still talking about #LindsayClancy, which has proven to be a fascinating case with so many moving parts.
