@farmer_kyle_v2@That_Hurts Maye had more total yards and only 11 less touchdowns. Also Maye still played some rlly good defenseโฆ for example against the Browns, number 4 ranked defense against the pass, he put up 282 yards, 3 touchdowns, 50 rushing yards, 135.8 passer rating, and 72.4 QBR.
@farmer_kyle_v2@That_Hurts Put their team on their back?? Brother Stafford was throwing to Puca who was arguably the best WR in the NFL, Adams who was the best redzone threat in the NFL, a great OL, and great run game. Mayes top WR was a 32 year old Diggs coming off a torn ACL and a below average OL.
@That_Hurts If you look at total yards and touchdowns, the only stat that Stafford beat Maye in was 11 touchdowns. Other than that Maye beat Stafford in every statistical category all while having a significantly worse supporting cast.
@Savageboston The issue I have is when teams start mentioning their star players names in trade packages, it typically doesnโt end well for that team.
@NickTeixeira15@PatsPro_21 What you have to keep in mind with the trade is that the team that trades for him will have to give him a new contract, which could reduce the package we would get for him. I think whatever weโd get from him in a trade package would result in a net negative.
@NickTeixeira15@PatsPro_21 Why take the chance on drafting another CB who may very well be a bust when we can just extend a locked and loaded top 5-top 3 CB in the league? We got the money, in my opinion taking that gamble doesnโt make much sense.
@Kilomanii@DannyPhly@SleeperNFL He actually played some really good defenses and did very good against them. For example against the Browns who were ranked #4 against the pass, he put up 282 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, 50 rushing yards, 135.8 passer rating, and a 72.4 QBR.
@DannyPhly@SleeperNFL You really gonna argue against the fact that he carried his team to the playoffs?? He had one of the worst supporting casts in the league. His WR1 was a 32 year old Diggs coming off a torn ACL, WR2 was a 6th round pick who has never broke 600 yards, and a pretty bad OL.
