Sadly today we mourn the loss of Boston firefighter Bobby Kilduff, killed in the line of duty last night. Bobby (BK) served in the USMC before becoming a firefighter and was a dedicated volunteer of the Gary Sinise Foundation. Our hearts go out to his family and all he served with. Thank you BK. The Boston Firefighter Burn Foundation help bring a little joy to the children at the Shriners Hospital today delivering Santa and Mrs. Claus.

At approximately 8:30 this morning heavy fire fire in the rear one 2nd and 3rd floor of a multi family home on Train st Dorchester, a 2nd alarm was ordered.

A busy 24 hours for our firefighters, many of them working at the 3 alarm fire on Corwin st. in the day and the 4 alarm fire that evening on Poplar st. A great job by all our firefighters and Fire Alarm Operators .

The members of meetinghouse Hill in Dorchester , Engine 17 Ladder 7 had a visitor on top of the flag pole watching over them this morning, looks like he likes the new Firehouse.
