they have tutors.
they go to the elite private schools.
they hire admission coaches.
@KWBaseball how about the ability to slide.
>over sliding the base. (timing issue)
>their lead foot is in the air (core not engaged)
>sliding on their shins & knees (slowing them down & increasing injury risk)
>superman headfirst slide (they go up, then come down, which is slower)
@natelagos #3 is the one I wasnโt prepared for. While your dashboards shows you are crushing, your bank account is sad. Because it all goes right back into the business.
When coaches focus on winning, development doesnโt happen.
Coaches donโt want to teach and coach kids how to pitch because it wonโt help their team in the short term, hurting the development of players and leagues in the long run.
There is a huge need for fundamental practices run by leagues so players can learn and develop. Games at the youth level donโt do it. Yet here in FL you play 2 games and get 1 practice. Because that makes sense. More games, less practice.
@orenmeetsworld The $$$ for these booths is insane to think about.
But the marketing, branding, and creativity is next level. I need to attend to gain inspiration and learn a thing or two.
