@BuyingSandlot People have no idea. I worked for a summer camp that held camps at the best universities in the world. At our peak we did $70M in revenue. Coding at MIT or Stanford.

they have tutors.
they go to the elite private schools.
they hire admission coaches.

When coaches focus on winning, development doesn’t happen.

Coaches don’t want to teach and coach kids how to pitch because it won’t help their team in the short term, hurting the development of players and leagues in the long run.

There is a huge need for fundamental practices run by leagues so players can learn and develop. Games at the youth level don’t do it. Yet here in FL you play 2 games and get 1 practice. Because that makes sense. More games, less practice.
