Hello, Friends. Popping in for a brief check-in with folks. Hope all are well. Still putting some distance between me and the social media bear trap. But I hope to be back on the regular.
From our new special issue on #foundfootage#horror@BostonWookiee's essay on H.P. Lovecraft, who 'leveraged fictional press “clippings” or “cuttings” as a form of “found footage"', especially in 'The Call of Cthulhu' #HPLovecraft

Completely honored and tickled pink to join @horrorhomeroom latest special issue FOUND FOOTAGE HORROR. My contribution to the fantastic assembly- A WEIRD BUNCH OF CUTTINGS: NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS AS LOVECRAFTIAN FOUND FOOTAGE- https://t.co/kGItHL6sCD
Had an amazing overnight visit to Saratoga Springs, NY. Great food, cocktails, coffee, and people-watching. But @NorthshireToga blew me away with their curated selection. I literally put back three books and held off even looking at four more titles I wanted.
So happy and honored to have a small part in this anthology. As always, my fellow contributors deliver the goods, and the @LunaPressGlobal team puts together another fantastic collection of independent academic writing.
Popping back in to shamelessly promote my ongoing series- “Worldbuilding John Wick. With the 1st film wrapped up, I'm diving in Chap. 2- Seeing the Unseen. #writing#film#worldbuilding#johnwick https://t.co/HpwXpRVMpX
John Wick’s Continental Hotels are sacred “company town” sanctuaries amid the profane—my latest entry in the Worldbuilding Wick series. https://t.co/fYE5Cr6FzB
Dashed to Widener ahead of graduation madness. Picked up a trio of books and overheard directions being given to two students. Assumed they were first years . Nope they graduate next week. 4 years at Harvard and they'd never been inside the library. What a modern age we live in.
Shamelessly pitching my ongoing Worldbuilding John Wick series. This week “Victor the Cleaner” joined Wick’s “Cleaners” as examples subtle worldbuilding.

Monday I delve into The Continental as Company Town in microcosm.
Just finished season one of “The Sandbaggers.” What. A. Show. Modern genre writers would do well to spend time watching this show. It is a masterclass in character and story.
Huzzah! What a fantastic collection of authors. I am so proud to contribute with my piece-“The Sacred and Profane: UFO Religions and Alien Messiahs in Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama.” What a stylish cover.
Popping in to shamelessly promote the newest installment of Worldbuilding John Wick, “Bring in the Cleaner.” Before Wick, there was Nikita- how both films worldbuild through the addition of “Cleaners.”

#AcademicTwitter If you know a module that might use a book / chapter on Gothic Historical TV Drama, can you let me know module, level and institution? It's for the proposal / marketing form for my (hopefully) next monograph. A bit more detail in the next tweets... 1/3
Glad to see folks sticking around. Miss chattering away with you all, but I still need some space for the old brain. I'll be back on the regular before ya realize.
