I just love the antsy writhy behavior of this prominence for a day or two prior to being expelled. I wonder what the actual dynamics behind them are -- it seems like it is being very strongly magnetically repelled but "stuck" somehow until it breaks free.

Reminds me of a bug that lands on your windshield; when you get on the highway it feels the wind more and more until eventually it loses grip and flies off
