TRAFFIC INCIDENT: Just before 10 p.m., Bothell Police attempted a traffic stop near 228th St SE and I-405.

The vehicle fled northbound on I-405, struck a guardrail while attempting to merge onto northbound I-5, and came to rest in the median.

This morning, 2,977 American flags were planted in front of @BothellHigh, one for each life lost on 9/11/01.

Our officers, alongside @BothellFire, were honored to take part in this annual tradition in remembering and honoring those lost 25 years ago.

Heads up: On 8/31, our Traffic Unit will test the flashing school zone beacons ahead of the first day of school. If you see them flashing Monday, it's just a test.

Safety Check - School Bus Laws🚌

The #firstdayofschool is officially two weeks away (for most students), which means those big yellow buses will be rolling again!

Now's the time for a quick refresher on when you need to STOP for those flashing red lights.

🛑 Never pass a stopped school bus when you're required to stop.
👀 Watch for students entering or crossing the roadway.
🚗 Give buses plenty of room and be prepared for frequent stops.
