At 1:43 p.m., Bothell Fire responded to Fred Meyer after reports of flames and smoke inside the store. The fire alarm and sprinkler system activated, and everyone safely evacuated. No injuries were reported. Crews are ventilating the building, & the cause is under investigation.

Detectives served warrants at 5 massage parlors tied to prostitution concerns. All were closed due to Fire Code violations.
Individuals were contacted, with focus on both enforcement and connecting those in need to support.
