ORIRE SCHOOL CHILDREN: Abeokuta Youths and Residents Hold “Bring Back Our Children” Protest
Today in Abeokuta, youths and concerned residents gathered at the Skating Ground in Abeokuta for the “Bring Back Our Children” protest, demanding the safe return of the abducted Oyo schoolchildren and their teachers, calling for urgent action to address insecurity in the country.
Dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
@officialABAT
Your Excellency,
It is with deepest regret and sadness that I bring to your attention the issue of
@MTNNG and the growing concerns surrounding its services.
Many Nigerians are increasingly worried about the rising cost of airtime and internet data, especially in the face of economic hardship. What makes this situation even more troubling is the poor quality of service that accompanies these high charges.
Citizens across the country continue to experience slow internet speeds, frequent disconnections, and inconsistent network coverage, all while being charged premium prices.
More frustrating is the fact that, due to these poor services, purchased internet data often expires before it can be used. Many Nigerians report that despite buying data bundles, they are unable to enjoy them fully because of slow or non-functional internet connections. This results in wasted resources and deepens the public’s dissatisfaction.
This is not only affecting personal communication but also impeding business activities, education, access to government services, and the ability of young Nigerians to innovate and compete in the digital economy.
Your Excellency, we respectfully urge your administration to look into this matter urgently. We ask that regulatory bodies such as the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) be strengthened and encouraged to hold service providers accountable, promote transparency in pricing, and ensure Nigerians receive the quality of service they are paying for.
We believe that under your leadership, Nigeria can create a more equitable digital environment that truly empowers its citizens.
Thank you for your attention.

I Just mistakenly sent money to the wrong @OPay_NG account belonging to one Mr. Obinna Divine Favour Okoronko (08038101401).
I called him, he confirmed receiving the money but refused to refund and switched off his phone 😭.
@JaizBankNG says retrieval isn’t certain without his consent which he clearly won’t give. Please, who can help me? And @OPay_NG can you please block this account 🙏

Meet my student AKINTOYE BOLUWATIFE. A government school student who had 7As in the recently concluded WAEC. I think these type of results should be celebrated. This is a testament to the work LASG is doing in the educational sector. Lagos state is working! @Mr_JAGs
