Another major project that has us fully focused is Northmoor CC in Chicago. In 2018, the Club hired us to rectify ongoing flooding issues and re-route the course. 125,000 cubic yards were moved over the last 7 months to raise the land/help drainage. Bold stuff! Opens Spring ‘23!
Great update from @buildsmartrgolf on the work going on at Olympia Fields. These changes are much more fun to see when compared to lines on paper. https://t.co/Srl2ekbkIA
Found this new wallet from @SecondStringLC made from old goalie gear. Nice to keep something with me to remind me of my youth. I’ll probably look into repurposing some of my old gear soon. Also, it doesn’t smell like used hockey gear.
Another case of TV not giving the elevation change in Riviera Country Club any credit. Approximately 140 ft change in elevation from one side of the course to the other.
I've been lucky enough to work on a few golf courses and this can't be stressed enough. Unfortunately, some of those paying the bills don't like the feeling that they are wasting money on something they can't see.
When I was an Assistant for Paul R. Latshaw at Augusta National I asked him what is the most important thing you can do on a golf course? He didn’t hesitate for a second; drainage, drainage, drainage!!! https://t.co/2fLoz8CYmO
