Wishing everyone a very happy and safe Halloween!
I was fortunate enough to pass out candy last week at the Euclid High School alongside some of my colleagues, the Euclid Police and Fire Departments, Mayor Holzheimer-Gail, and other great community members!
What a great night being out in Euclid! Thank you to Councilman Gresham for inviting me to speak at his Ward 3 Community Event, and thanks to the Faith Community Worship Center for hosting! It was a joy getting to speak to so many folks! Excited to be out again soon! Stay tuned!
At the 9/10/2025 Board of Education meeting, I spoke out against reliance on generative artificial intelligence. I asked students to rely on their own human efforts. Through human effort, great beauty and marvels can be created. It is important to not lose our humanity
I am proud to endorse @amyactonoh for Governor! Dr. Acton will be the fighter we need for public education. She gets that education is the foundation for a strong society. I hope that you’ll join me in supporting Dr. Acton and helping her fight for Ohio!
Cleveland and the communities that surround it are an essential part of Ohio’s success. I am grateful for this confidence in my leadership, and am committed to working together to help lower costs for northeast Ohioans.
Wishing everyone a meaningful, but restful Labor Day! Unions have taught us that when we unite together, nothing is impossible! May we all forever stand in solidarity to make a better tomorrow possible for everyone!
When we fail to do so, not only do these influences win, but they conquer and dominate. So I plead with you to stay vigilant, and remember the humanity of your neighbors.
This year marks 80 years since the defeat of Nazism. While the Nazis were defeated in Europe in May, the ideology did not disappear over night. In fact, much like a cockroach, it found a way to stick around in unexpected places. (1/4)
These influences creep in when we leave the door open for them. So how do you stop that? Yes, we must actively fight against them. However, we must also stand up for one another. We must help our neighbors and we have to be there and fight for each other, and not only ourselves.
I was happy to join with friends all over in Cleveland yesterday to stand in solidarity with Doctors Beene and Fouts-Fowler. It is always great to see living proof that Cleveland is a union town, and nothing will ever change that!
Tonight, I voted to approve Superintendent Papouras’s final contract before his retirement. I am looking forward to this school year, and am also excited for what is to come next.

I believe in my fellow man. I believe in this country where the poor and huddled masses are welcomed. I believe all are entitled to a quality public education. I believe in celebrating our differences, and we are our best when we do. May God bless you all. Happy Independence Day!
Howdy folks! I wanted to wish a joyous, happy, and safe Independence Day! Our nation is great by its promise to be one with liberty & justice for all. This is a country where all can work, live, love, and exist. No matter what, the American promise is meant for you too. (Cont.)
