@yogithias @dr_ayesha @ONtransport No I have not been able to book a test yet, he had two since last July both got cancelled. It is so far booked up until December 2022 and ends there. I went to service Canada to get a temp license, it has to be renewed every 3 months until he gets his G.

@dr_ayesha @ONtransport I just went through this nightmare with my son, they will not renew it until you take your G, however they will give you a temporary license which lasts 3 months for $30 and you just have to keep renewing it every 3 months until you go for your G.

@littletonstc @610CKTB I completely understand safety and the city having to do what is best, it is just unfortunate to allow the space to go back to a negative use, when something positive came of it. Youth in our community desperately need an outlet, one that is free, safe and positive.

@littletonstc @610CKTB to use the facilities. This should not happen (this is all pre covid), they have not been able to use the washrooms at all since the vaccine clinic has been in place.

@littletonstc @610CKTB That is something that should be addressed as this is not the case and has been an issue for years. Security does not allow the facilities to be used by Skateboarders So much so that they have to show a screenshot from an e-mail from city staff I contacted on their behalf..

@610CKTB Again unfortunate that this area will go back to being a haven for drug users and unsafe. If.. another skatepark is ever built (my son's been skateboarding for 15+yrs and it's never happened)ask the skateboard community their suggestions, they know what they like in a skatepark!

@610CKTB It is unfortunate that they will not work with the existing location. They did not build a skatepark with cement (this is an over exaggeration) they took an existing abandoned cement structure known for drug use in a path once deemed unsafe and improved it by hand @littletonstc

@TheTorontoSun @brianlilley Living with a paycheque it’s easy to say stay in lockdown, for those of us out there off work for a year due to closure, lockdown is a continued nightmare. Take away your paycheque and your ability to support your family and your opinions change exponentially.

@XplodingUnicorn I’m 42 me and my husband have this same conversation daily as I do this all the time. Why shut them out when you will be right back up seems useless, smart kid you’ve got there!! Yes I pay the hydro bill, don’t care!!
