In case anyone is wondering how downtown recovery is going in SF I’m on a bus that is too full to stop at all the stops for the first time in 4 years 🎭
@wafoli HA I thought this was my photo bc I took the same one, then showed it to my husband who said, wait that’s me riding in the photo 😂. Small town SF 😶🌫️🚲
“No one bikes in San Francisco”
San Franciscans and visitors showed, once again, that they will use bikes to get around our city when there are car-free / car-light streets to get to their destination and ample secure bike storage there.
We must build more bike infrastructure.
Perfect peaceful morning to take @Amtrak Pacific Surfliner to San Diego and read @RosannaXia’s beautiful book California Against The Sea with this backdrop 😌🌊🚂🏄🏻
Hey @Waymo, tell me again how you’re making our streets safer? Watched an unmanned 🚕 of yours take a left-on-red-arrow in front of my 🚲 tonight at 5:52pm from 13th St onto Folsom St in SF, a 5-way intersection on the @VisionZeroSF High Injury Network 🤦🏻♀️. CC @SafeStreetRebel
One of Taylor’s set pieces at the Era’s tour involves a bunch of ladies riding bikes around stage and then smashing a car with golf clubs.
@taylorswift13 welcome to the war on cars.
Freezing out there and pre-holiday-time and I still saw 23 kids traveling on foot/wheels @SlowLakeStreet in the 23 blocks I rode. Thankful for safe passage on my ride to the doctor today (and every day)! 🥶🚲🎄
Sat next to @SecretaryPete at the airport & chickened out 🐥 from saying hi (you should eat in peace!). I wanted to say: tx for your work (esp. trying to dismantle freeways, amazing to see this in the conversation!). Hope to see e-bike subsidies soon along with all the EV ones 🚲
Some Good News: the banging happening outside every afternoon that I thought was impending construction is actually a little neighbor boy and his grandpa playing wall ball after school 🥺🏀🥹
Plus, there is already a way to travel from the Richmond to the Sunset in a car!
Drive into the garage at 10th & Fulton, then exit out the Music Concourse on the other side to MLK & 9th Ave (it's free for 15 minutes!)
