🚨 BREAKING | GAZA
Medical staff have reportedly completely withdrawn from Kamal Adwan Hospital as Israeli forces and tanks advance toward the hospital
Another dangerous development threatening what remains of healthcare in northern Gaza
This story would have made much bigger headlines if it had happened in Tel Aviv, New York, Rome, or Paris. But this is Gaza.
Gazan Journalist Youssef Fares writes:
“Last night, an unbearably foul smell spread across Gaza City. At first, you start second-guessing yourself. You wonder if it’s coming from the bathroom or from one of your sleeping children. You check everything, but you can’t find the source.
Then messages start pouring into our journalists’ groups. Everyone is smelling the same thing. It has seeped into homes and tents, from the Tuffah and Daraj neighborhoods in the east all the way to Beit Lahia in the west.
Eventually, we learn that Israeli aircraft had dropped hundreds of foul-smelling bubbles across the area, apparently to contaminate the air.
Yes. Even the air, it seems, is more than they think we deserve.”
Fares ends with a furious condemnation of the Israeli occupation, describing it as “the lowest, vilest, most despicable and repulsive thing humanity has ever known.”
A child in Gaza did not hesitate for a single second. He ran to save a young man who had been targeted, but another missile struck him too, and he lost his life while trying to save him.
This is the real Spider Man.
This child should be the story the whole world is talking about today.
I think the tanks are advancing now. There is heavy gunfire, shelling, and quadcopter drones flying above our heads.
The situation is extremely dangerous. We don't know what will happen to us in the coming minutes.
Please pray for us.
Biden NEVER "thought" a Gaza deal was "imminent"!
Him, Blinken & co. deliberately lied about an "imminent deal" for months to buy time for genocide.
Biden announced his ceasefire proposal in May 2024 to distract from the International Court of Justice's provision orders on Rafah & cover up the crackdown on the student encampments.
The UN security council endorsed that proposal in June & Hamas accepted it in July, Israel rejected (although it was Israel's own proposal) & assassinated Hamas' top negotiator.
Biden never called Netanyahu out for that. Instead, in August, Biden's team made a totally new "bridging proposal" that went far & beyond Israel's own original proposal in order to appease Netanyahu. Palestinian factions refused to engage & said it was ridiculous that every time they agreed to an Israeli-American proposal, Israel changed its mind & demanded a new round of negotiations to buy time.
Biden & his team here deliberately lied & forced the Arab mediators to issue a false statement in August 2024 that there was a "breakthrough" in the talks, although there were no talks happening whatsoever (I was there in Doha right at that moment).
Their goal was to: 1) allow Kamala Harris' DNC to pass without a hitch & 2) prevent Iran & Hezbollah from retaliating against Israel's assassinations in Lebanon & Tehran, because the Iranians said they'd refrain from retaliating if progress was made on Gaza.
For the next 5 months until the end of Biden's term, he fully stopped trying to get a deal on Gaza & instead Blinken & co kept repeating the line that "Israel accepted the ceasefire deal & Hamas is rejecting." Israeli media was daily saying Netanyahu was the main obstacle. It was so bizarre.
After Trump won, Saudi Arabia & other countries approached Biden to persuade him to pressure Israel in his lame duck period now that he had nothing to lose. He refused to budge an inch b/c he thought any change of policy on Israel would "taint his legacy" & he "wanted to be remembered as the most pro-Israel president ever" as a senior Saudi official put it to me!
A senior Gaza armed resistance commander told sources on the ground that after conducting meticulous interrogation of an apprehended network of wartime collaborators, Israel demonstrably deploys its spies in funeral processions and hospitals' morgues to obtain personal information of the fatalities and ensure it has achieved its targets from the attacks.
Other spies disguised themselves as journalists and provided extensive updates to Israeli officers on the phone during one of the funeral marches. Today's strikes on Al-Nusairat Camp embodied this fear and prompted the local authorities to cross every T and dot every I.
New instructions may be announced soon for journalists and activists in the next few weeks to avoid handing gifted information to Israel through filming the deceased faces. The understanding right now is that the observation of journalists will also be stricter for security reasons.
Israel continues to breach the ceasefire agreement by assassinating fighters and murdering innocent people in Gaza. Over 1100 people have been killed since the so-called peace plan.
I have also talked to people of homes bordering the yellow line. They feel terrified of receiving evacuation notices from the Israeli military at any time and being displaced again. They've got nowhere to go. Israel's expansion and occupation of the beleaguered territory intensifies.
Violations of the ceasefire have roughly now reached 4000 by Israel. From aid cuts to repeated bombardment and obliteration, Gaza's bleeding is only getting more profuse.
The Graham Platner debate/condemnation overlooks a glaring truth. The alleged victim herself ties his violence to drinking and PTSD yet these are predictable outcomes of combat deployment. Soldiers routinely return with substance abuse and heightened aggression, disproportionately directed at their partners, including higher rates of physical assault and rape. This is the direct consequence of U.S. military imperialism: commit atrocities abroad, provide grossly insufficient care for vets, and leave American society, especially families, to bear the domestic burden.
But instead of confronting this systemic logic, US individualizes it. US media/people/society grafts onto each person as a personal moral failing. "PTSD (or fill in the blank) is not an excuse" becomes the reflexive mantra because it lets the U.S. dodge accountability. That's how America (not) solves everything: pathologically individualizing systemic problems to avoid reckoning with its own imperialist machinery.
It’s only very American that Platner allegedly wanted to fix the structural devastation of war and its domestic fallout. Yet he was deemed morally unacceptable and condemned, forced to drop out of the political race not because he deviated from the American system, but precisely because he embodied the violence and substance abuse adapted into him.
At the end of the day, someone who’s never been to war will happily support going to another war, and they’ll never have to pay for its consequences. They won’t be the millions of Iraqi, Afghan, Iran, Palestinian who dies at the hands of US soldiers and US weapons or the partners who will face the violence of the soldiers returning home.
🚨URGENT: Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s life is in immediate danger, Physicians for Human Rights Israel and his lawyer warned Saturday, after a prison visit revealed the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital bearing fresh, severe injuries to his head, eyes, ears, and neck, so disfigured his own attorney initially struggled to recognize him.
🔹Attorney Nasser Odeh, who saw Abu Safiya Thursday at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility in Nitzan Prison, said he arrived shackled hand and foot, escorted by masked guards, struggling to breathe and speak, unable to sit upright, and repeatedly on the verge of losing consciousness.
🔹Abu Safiya told him that after his Supreme Court appeal was heard June 10, four or five guards entered his solitary cell at Ganot Prison and beat him with a hammer and batons, and that since his June 24 transfer to Rakefet he has been beaten daily, losing consciousness several times without receiving medical treatment.
🔹“This is the last time you will see me,” he told his lawyer. “They brought me here to kill me. I don’t see myself surviving. This is the end.”
🔹PHRI notes the escalation in torture began directly after Abu Safiya challenged his detention in court. He has been held without charge since December 27, 2024, under Israel’s Unlawful Combatants Law.
🔹The group has appealed to Israel’s attorney general and prison service demanding his immediate transfer, an independent medical examination, and an urgent judicial visit “before it is too late.”

I've been talking with friends from Gaza. Everyone is terrified of these new concentration camps, by the murderous Board of Piss.
The world must stop this. Literally by any fucking means necessary. We must stop this HOLOCAUST.
Strange call out, but if you are an exotic fish fan in Ottawa, there are dozens dying in a building with no power at 30 McEwan and the owner is desperately trying to rehome them for free. She’ll be here for another hour but her phone is dead - ask around for Tammy!
A very dangerous new nightmare we are living in Gaza City, and no one in the world is paying attention to it.
Days ago, the Israeli army installed huge military cranes, each about 30 meters tall, on the eastern areas it controls. These cranes are equipped with machine guns and cameras, and they fire randomly and almost continuously at tents, streets, and exposed neighborhoods.
Gaza City is extremely narrow, only 10 kilometers wide. A single crane at that height is enough to expose the entire city from east to west. Every street, every square, every tent, every house has become completely exposed. There is no place to hide, and not a single moment of safety.
In just the past two days, three people were killed by fire from these cranes. One of them was sitting quietly with his father in a small café, trying to breathe for a few minutes. Hours later, a 5year old girl was killed while playing near her home.
These cranes have turned the entire city into an open field. The latest military technologies are directed at civilians. We have become an open testing ground for their new weapons. The horror is not just in the sound… it is the constant feeling of being an exposed target at all times, where even children cannot run in the street without fear.
Israel dropped a bomb on Mona’s home in Mansouri, South Lebanon, today.
Mona is not a fighter.
She is an environmental activist who dedicated her life to protecting endangered sea turtles.
Because of Israel, Mona is now fighting for her life in a hospital bed.
At the request of the illegal “Havat Maon” settlers, Israeli forces detained five Palestinian children, aged 8–12, for gathering wild vegetables and flowers near the settlement.
My friend from Gaza has just posted this:
Nine years in Gaza.
Yesterday, as I scrolled through the names of the victims, one stopped me: “Sarah Rajab, 9 years old.”
Sarah was our neighbors' daughter. In the second month of the genocide, she survived an Israeli strike that killed her mother, her grandmother, and both of her siblings. Though injured, Sarah survived. She was left with only her father until he was killed a few months ago.
Today, that entire family is gone.
At just nine years old, Sarah had already been a survivor, a patient, and an orphan. Now, she is dead.
I am so heartbroken.
Israel has just shot my 30-year-old aunt in the chest while she was sitting with her three young children in a school shelter in Jabalia Camp. She is in critical condition; the bullet pierced her chest and exited through her back, devastating her lungs and spleen.
At the moment she was hit, she was holding her one-year-old son. He fell from her lap as she collapsed and was found bleeding from one of his ears.
I just spoke with my uncle, who told me that Israel has been using subsonic bullets lately. He said his sister is the second mother in the camp to be shot in the chest today.
Please pray for her and our family. Her husband was abducted by Israel in November 2024, and we still have no word on his condition.
