Unfortunately this one could not be OA but you can use the link above for 50d, or contact me and co-authors anytime!
Great team with T. Christensen, A. Hunka, A. Palmqvist, E. Skjold and @KristianSyberg !!!
Our new paper on #chemicals in textiles is out! We compiled data on >700 chem and found that most of them are hazardous + some present a direct risk for the consumer. And we discuss the current and future regulations and implications for #circulareconomy.

We have a new PhD position. Do you want to work with reduction of #plasticpollution in the health care sector and transition to #circulareconomy? Our approach is holistic and interdisciplinary and we always strive to have fun.

What happens when our single-use cups end up in the environment? Check out our new paper and this thread👇. Thanks @BCarneyAlmroth @alicecarle_@MoliFrancesca and Marion Blanchard!
@KristianSyberg@smbrander What is also interesting in this article is that it clearly shows the pb of regrettable substitution, and the only way to avoid this is to reduce the production of new materials... hence the importance of circular economy ;)
@KristianSyberg@smbrander Yep, and GHG emissions due to textile industry are expected to increase >60% by 2030... and fashion industry also consumes 20 trillion liters of water/year (2nd largest consumer in the world)!!!
Hey #microplastic/#microfibers pple! Have a look at our new study on fish and textile fibers! We did not see effects on fish, but thought a lot on how we could improve exposure with microfibers and provide proper exposure characterization 👇
I am very happy to share our latest paper, in which we draw upon multiple research areas such as #microplastics, ecotox, geography, physics and ecology, discussing how we can work with particles as carries for organic matter in the environment.

Today we sent a letter to the 🇸🇪 Minister for the Environment @strandhall asking her to support the draft resolution to establish an "Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel to support action on chemicals, waste and pollution" at the forthcoming UN Environment Assembly meeting.
