@VegasIntrovert I know I'll continue to take note of businesses that keep CDC guidelines in place and only give my dollars to them. It's about the only voice we have left in a state that has proven time and again profit is more important than people.
As a lifelong Texan I'll continue to wear a 😷 and practice social distancing as I have since the pandemic started. I apologize in advance if I tell somebody to step the hell back if you approach me without one.

5 years ago HB2571 was killed on the house floor on 3rd reading by my predecessor. It mandated power plants maintain and PREPARE for weather like this. Introduced by Eric Johnson when he was a state rep. MOST REPUBS voted AGAINST this bill. Here are their votes #txlege
@cnote_vegas @KittyRose1988 Jokes aside I do hope your power gets up and running soon. I can't be the only one who misses your assortment of daily beef and potato pictures.
Amanda Gorman: "We've seen a force that would shatter our nation rather than share it. Would destroy our country if it meant delaying democracy. And this effort very nearly succeeded. But while democracy can be periodically delayed, it can never be permanently defeated."
