7 CONFRONTING QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR CHILD
Their answers may be difficult to hear...
but they can show you what your child has been feeling and struggling to say...

🔥 BREAKING OVERNIGHT: President Trump drops this absolute banger where — by stroke of pen — he personally CROSSES OUT “Lake Ontario” in the Oval Office to name it Lake America
🤣🤣
“We're going to make a little change. We're going to call it something different than Lake Ontario. We're going to call it Lake America, and all it takes is a good pen and some intelligence.”
“So Lake Ontario, that's gone. Lake America. So now we have a lake, and now we have a Gulf, because we have the Gulf of America.”
“Now we have Lake America, without the of. Thank you very much, everybody. Enjoy Lake America!”
He’s pure gold! 😂
Dude catches an absolute laser of a foul ball and immediately hands it to a kid, casually creating a core memory he’ll remember for the rest of his life
Extremely important chart. If you are picking someone really low on this chart to go a long way, the odds are not on your side. The reverse is true at the top.
Ten million people have watched an MIT professor accidentally destroy the executive coaching industry.
He filmed the lecture once in January 2018 and died eighteen months later.
Executive coaches charge fifteen thousand dollars a session to teach a third of what he covered in one hour for free.
His name was Patrick Winston. He ran the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from 1972 to 1997 and wrote the AI textbook every computer science major in the world read for thirty years.
Every January for four decades, he gave a lecture called "How to Speak."
His entire framework fits on a napkin.
Do not read. Be in the image. Keep images simple. Eliminate clutter. Start with an empathetic connection. End with a punch line the audience can repeat over dinner. Never open with a joke. Never end with "thank you."
That last rule alone has probably cost the executive coaching industry a hundred million dollars.
"Your success in life will be determined largely by your ability to speak, your ability to write, and the quality of your ideas. In that order."
That is the actual opening line of the lecture. Winston believed it strongly enough to spend fifty years teaching computer scientists how to talk.
Founders spend $80,000 on an MBA and then hire a communications coach to teach them the same material Winston filmed once for free. Engineers write brilliant code and lose promotions to teammates who watched this lecture on the train.
The lecture is free on MIT OpenCourseWare. The textbook is free on his page.
Winston died in 2019. Almost none of the ten million viewers have actually implemented the four rules on the napkin.
The napkin is free. The willingness to actually use it in your next meeting is the entire edge.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

David Sacks broke down on the All-In podcast why Alex Karp's CNBC outburst was not a meltdown but a warning, and then laid out exactly how Anthropic is running the same playbook Microsoft used to kill an entire generation of software companies.
The media called Karp unhinged.
Sacks said the opposite. Karp was describing what enterprise customers actually want.
Control over their compute, their models, their data, their alpha. Ownership of the means of production.
Then he named the proof.
Anthropic's chief product officer sat on Figma's board. He did not resign until 3 days before Anthropic launched Claude Design, a direct competitor.
Figma's stock is down 50 percent this year.
Sacks called it a pattern. Claude Code, Claude Science, Claude Security, Claude Legal, Claude Financial. Every vertical where a customer built value on top of Anthropic's model got absorbed by Anthropic itself.
Word Perfect and Lotus 123 got replaced by Excel and Word.
Nobody who went to bed with Microsoft in the 80s woke up with their business intact.

How Kon Knueppel scores 18.5 PPG with only 2 dribbles per catch
One thing that stands out about Kon Knueppel’s game is how quickly he plays without rushing.
He doesn’t need the ball to stick.
He doesn’t need 10 dribbles.
And he doesn’t need a flashy combo move every possession.
Kon averaged less than 2 dribbles per touch and possessed the ball only about 7% of the time he was on the floor…
Yet he still averaged 18.5 PPG and earned 1st Team All-Rookie honors.
That should get everybody’s attention.
Because it proves you do not have to dominate the ball to impact the game.
You just have to be ready, make quick decisions, and flow into the next action.
That’s what makes players like Kon so effective.
Shoot off the catch.
Attack in straight lines.
Land on two feet and finish.
If nothing is there… pass, relocate, and keep moving.
That’s also one of the things we like about Coach Bob Patton’s Modern Game Shooting workouts.
Players aren’t just standing still getting shots up.
They’re constantly moving through game-like sequences where they have to prepare, attack, pass, relocate, reset their feet, and flow into the next action without pausing.
A lot of modern scoring is about connecting actions together quickly and efficiently.

HARVARD RELEASED A 65-MIN MASTERCLASS ON GIT & GITHUB BECAUSE VIBE-CODERS STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TO COMMIT
1 hour and 5 minutes of raw, no-nonsense version control architecture from the creators of CS50.
-> The moment you watch it, you realize why most modern developers are breaking their production branches.
Every tier-1 tech company is now filtering candidates who can't handle basic merge conflicts.
Git isn't a "nice-to-know" anymore -> it's compliance.
Your AI can write the code.
That wasn't the problem.
The problem is you don't know how to merge it without breaking the repo.
Don’t forget to bookmark it.
