@hawkbird_@BillTheKid1603 Education has insufficient long term results in every study I have seen. We genuinely tried to solve obesity without medicine. We couldn't.
These injections lead to a staggering drop in heart disease, one of the greatest modern killers. They lead to longer, happier healthier ppl
@hawkbird_@BillTheKid1603 Obesity is a genuine medical problem that leads to children growing up without their parents. I will promote what works.
Diet and exercise worked for me, but it clearly isn't an actual solution.
@Quirk22@SalifAsdm Like, which part is a lie? Do you think more justices wouldn't reduce workload for individual court justices? Which was GAs justification btw. Or do you think there aren't 13 circuits?
@Quirk22@SalifAsdm ? Do you think brackets means you're not supposed to read that part? I said truthfully. Because it would be a true part of their justification. Just the same as AZ and GA when they used nearly identical justifications for their court packing. None are "purely" partisan.
@Quirk22@SalifAsdm None. And when the democrats add new members to the supreme court, they'll (truthfully) say it's to decrease burdens to individual members, and re-align supreme court numbers to the numbers of districts. So that wouldn't be 'purely' partisan either. What is your point?
@UnotheInvestor@Corenthian@Polymarket Settled it how? What do you think Trump would have given Russia, considering what Putin said he wanted in the Carlson interview?
@MidenaUnknown It has more details of the character that I'm playing than any of my doodles do. On the plus side, I'm not paying for the tool; I'm costing them money and at worst, I'm only going to feed the models more AI slop. Im closer to an industrial terrorist than an AI supporter.
@MidenaUnknown I am already learning another language and I wouldn't want to split my self improvement time up further. Particularly if it's between two things that might be made practically redundant by AI, lol.
@GhostOfCorkey@quill67 No primary sources. Understanding is based purely on secondary. Would be more than happy to update my understanding if I came across some analysis that showed the Bolsheviks didn't describe the transitory period as capitalist.
@abaaacd@quill67 I don't have an opinion on that tbh. I am just responding to the idea that it was originally called socialist and only called state capitalist in response to its failures. The opposite is true.
@quill67 Not a Marxist, but your assumptions are the opposite of what happened.
When the Bolshevik revolution succeeded they called themselves state capitalist. Once civil tensions from socialists under Stalin became the biggest threat, then Stalin declared the USSR is now socialist.
@howardhoplite@CongealedMayo@lilbabygandhi Went through the evidence they and eviscerated them over it, such as the scathing dismissal in Trump v. Boockvar.
"We have 1 affidavit where someone says they saw ppl acting suspiciously. No allegations of fraud" Isn't even something you need disprove. And that's 90% of these.
@howardhoplite@CongealedMayo@lilbabygandhi They were always allowed to present evidence in the filing. You mean where they lost on evidentiary grounds presumably. They exist, like Law v Whitmer, but even in cases where the Trump team (probably intentionally) fucked up their standing, the (often conservative) judges 1/2
@tastybits The Iranian people were on the Wests side in 2009 and even 2022. Now Trump told them to rise up only to let them die, and is going to give more money and power to their tyrannical, hated leaders.
When the IGRC finally get their comeuppance, those who come next will hate us more.
@tastybits The JCPOA was with a reformist government who clearly despised the IGRC, and it granted them lots of support.
Trump baited 30k anti IGRC protestors into being killed and this plan is going to cement evil in power for another 2 decades+ ala Assad.
This is much worse. Not close.
@izanagi2345 @V1Zhual @HaleyTCG Lots of people have genuine fun playing with a gameified economy. As an adult, I prefer my economy gaming to be abstract ofc, but irl economies are essentially as abstract to kids as digital TCGs like HeX have been to me, so igi.
As long as they are engaging with it healthily.
@cybercom_woke @NicholasDClay to be clear, this is a discussion about what their positions would be, and leftists do in fact talk about their political positions. Quite a bit, actually.
@NicholasDClay This would downstream of whether a corporation has licence to print consciousness with literal manufactured consent. The idea that leftists would be all for that is bizzare. Have you ever listened to a leftist talk about corporations, sci-fi, or manufactured consent before?
