I'm a lifelong Republican; I first voted for Gerald Ford in 1976.

However...today I'm extremely concerned that both Trump and Vance are willing to throw Ukraine to the wolves and reward Vladimir Putin for his invasion and occupation of eastern Ukraine.

Anyone who has ever read a history book knows that you don't reward neighborhood bullies or expansionistic autocrats.

In my view, we either help Ukraine help themselves to fight off Russian genocide NOW, or we find ourselves in a war with Russia later on due to our Article 5 commitment to the defense of our fellow NATO partners.

Donald Trump has picked Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his Vice Presidential running mate. This was the Kremlin and Vladimir Putin's top pick to be Trump's Vice President. JD Vance is the most anti-Ukraine and pro-Russian senator and that is why Trump picked him.

JD Vance believes:

Helen Comperatore, the wife of Corey Comperatore, the man who was murdered at the Trump rally on Saturday, tells the NY Post that Donald Trump has yet to reach out to her family.

Helen also said that she refused to accept a condolence call from President Biden: “My husband was a devout Republican, and he would not have wanted me to talk to him….I don’t have any ill-will toward Joe Biden. A rally was held in Paris before the Olympics in honor of Ukrainian athletes who died as a result of the war with Russia.

Russia has killed 488 Ukrainian athletes, 20 Olympic and gold champions among them since the full-scale invasion began.

The demonstration was held by French Union of Ukrainians and World Ukrainian Congress.

The peaceful rally was attended by about a thousand people wearing T-shirts with the names of the victims, as well as several city deputies and representatives of the Administration of Paris.

In addition to showing solidarity, the participants of the rally also called for the removal of representatives of Russia and Belarus from the 2024 Olympic Games, even under a neutral flag.
