@RealAlexBarth As a fan, I want the players I follow & enjoy to have a long & happy life after football. The NFL needs to put safety above the almighty dollar. Players need to put their own safety above vanity. The NFL & players wonโt unless the pressure comes from both fans & the NFLPA.
@PatsPlanet_ He has only scratched the surface on his potential. He stepped up big time last year and made some tough contested catches. I would take him over Pop.
@mariashriver@ViceeezAnn Trumpโs polling is in the shitter & the GOP needs him to win back moderates. Itโs now obvious to voters, if he canโt hold it together for an interview by a diminutive female journalist, how can he possibly hold his ground against adversarial world leaders? It was a big fail.
@PatriotsCLNS@tkyles39 Great breakdown Taylor. You are one of the best.
What really excites me is that AJB is a force multiplier. Everyone on the depth chart is now better. Doubs, Hollins, Boutte & Williams. AJB will also dictate pass coverage & Josh will have a field day with the run play calls.
@RealAlexBarth It will never happen. The NFL will never allow the relocation of its 3rd oldest franchise (1920).
Itโs all leverage so they can squeeze the IL taxpayers for funding of a new stadium. See the Pats potential move to CT in 1998/1999. https://t.co/G4dZ0lgCMo
@RealAlexBarth Last yr was an incredible yr. Even so, we knew that because of the lack of depth, it could fall apart at any moment. It happened in the SB. The Pats have done a good job filling many of the depth concerns but there is still a glaring need is at edge. Edge should be the priority.
@RealAlexBarth@pfref You would have to be an exceptional Pats fan if you remember half of these players. I consider myself a fairly knowledgeable fan (since 1970) and I can honestly remember only 9.
@PatsPlanet_ My concern about Pop has always been his lack of play strength. This matters to Vrabel as well. When talking about Chism, Vrabel occasionally brings up his play strength as a positive.
@Kahuna05697450@MikeReiss Yes. Tonga was a key loss. RBs are thin but remember, the Pats won a lot over 2 decades and did not have scary RB in most of those years. They had Dillon and Blount for a total of 6 years and even they were at the tail end of their careers.
@ChefGriddy@tkyles39 โIt seems to separate people moreโ if you have been paying attention you would know that Trump is the master separator in chief. He has deliberately created an โus vs themโ mentality among his base and has targeted POC. Carter and Kerr have every right to call him out.
@Savageboston 1993 Drew the very 1st foundational player of Patriot Way. Add in Troy in the same yr. Then comes Willie, Ty, Ted, Tedy, Curtis, Faulk, Lawyer. All foundational pieces & most are Pat HOFers. All before BB & TB12. Ppl donโt appreciate that BB inherited a very good roster/culture.
