But director #KaranRawal dares, and ultimately dazzles with his experiment and execution. The actor’s performance keeps you invested in the character.

And matching him in every beat is his co-star #SonakshiSinha. Here’s a star and an actor unafraid to choose unconventional stories. And this is a fabulous addition to her repertoire. She’s terrific and brings a certain tenderness to her role.

The scenes between Zaheer and Sonakshi are well written and executed. Kudos to both actors and the writing team for bringing the emotional and dramatic confrontations to life. As the phone calls increase, so does your heartbeat.

The thriller finds its biggest strength in twists and turns. The narrative has several interesting moments that keep you glued.

The music by #OAFF and #Savera offers a soothing contrast, with @VishalMMishra’s #Humsafar standing out as a particularly beautiful track.
