Context matters when discussing Fury/Joshua v Ngannou -

Fury was/is WBC World Heavyweight Champion without a defence in 10 months between Chisora/Ngannou and the Usyk fight was dead as far as we knew (later announced a few weeks prior to Ngannou bout). Inactive & holding a World title - significant in holding up overall heavyweight picture/undisputed situation.

Joshua on a rebuild, 3 fights banked in 2023 & not holding any World titles so not relevant to undisputed/heavyweight title picture. Can’t argue against activity in 2023 (most fights he’s had since 2016). Massive event v Ngannou for major £ then in against Hrgovic for vacant IBF in the summer.

Is this a fair assessment or unfair?

Just my thoughts ✌🏽

@RPrower @UltrasPodcast I agree to a extent, they diffinatly took the fight on short notice because they believe they win comfortably, banking on AJ coming out his shell. If AJ doesn't come out his shell.....there could be a problem
