Fair point, but the money still went take care of the influx of immigrants regardless of how it was washed. I work in the high commercial construction industry here in Chicago and I can assure you that money went to special interest groups and the like. Chicago residents have seen the destruction caused as a result....especially Southside residents... the taxes and city policy are major contributors to the bears departure but much of that inflation is a result of the handouts the city gave and continues to give. Its obvious to everyone (with a brain) who lives in Chicago. The city policy with catch and release has made for some real dangerous shit in our city as well... bottom line democrats are making things worse for sure. We need new leadership and need it desperately. And all the articles and think tank data you want to throw around....fine...come on down to my neighborhood and me these policy's aren't the problem. Chicago is hemorrhaging money but still supporting people who should not be here....dont care what your articles say...all I have to do is walk outside.
