@TroubIedCoach — He wasn’t expecting Caleb to be home this early yet. Though he had Caleb’s gift ready, he had completely forgotten that /today/ was valentines.
“Caleb.. Hey, what’re you doing home so early? Where’s Soph?”
@TroubIedCoach Tony had just gotten home from a fight, one he didn’t think Caleb had known about. He had forgotten he had told him the other day.
A fight that Tony unfortunately didn’t win. He pulled into the drive way, trying to make the marks less noticeable as he made his way inside. —
He had completely forgot he had mentioned the fight earlier, in fact he forgot about the entire conversation at the sound of his stomach rumbling.
“I know. And I’m sorry. I swear I didn’t know these were edibles or I wouldn’t have ate so many. She’s just a damn good —
— baker, and I couldn’t control myself. They were just too good.”
She was definitely going to get a lecture from both of them once Tony had sobered up, but for now Tony just wanted to live in the moment.
“Can we just forget about all of this right now? There’s nothing we—
“I did not know that, no…” He stopped laughing for a moment as he thought about it. He still thought that was a few weeks away. Fuck.
“I—.” He tried to stop himself from laughing. “I’m fucked aren’t I?”
— “your sister gave you edibles and didn’t tell you? You’re aware that you have a meeting with your parole officer next week, correct?”
Caleb asked astonished. There’s no way all of this was happening right now. He lifted his hands to rub the side of his temples.
— must’ve been edibles. Fuck. He’s completely fucked. “Shit—.” He couldn’t help but burst into laughter. “She’s good. I have to admit, she’s pretty fucking clever.”
“She’s—.” He tried to think where she was, but before he could Caleb was back in the room. “She’s gone? How could she just leave? I’ve been here the whole time she—.”
The window! Of course. He remembered she had asked to go with her friends.. fucking hell. The brownies —
— just fuel the fire at this moment.
He walked towards sophs room and knocked with no answer. He peaked his head in to see she was gone and her window was open.
“Your sisters gone.” Caleb sighed after he entered back to the living room.
“Honestly? I have no idea.” He shrugs off looking around for a moment before bursting out into a fit of laughter temporarily.
“Hey, Caleb. While I’m thinking about it, I told you about the fight that’s happening this Saturday, right?”
“You’re telling me that Sophie didn’t give you any trouble when you got home and she just left brownies?”
Caleb questioned, knowing Sophie has been pushing her limits with Tony a lot recently. He glanced around the house noticing how quiet it was.
“Where is soph?”
Tony shrugged his shoulders. “Nothing?” Tony asked rather than stating.
“All I did was come home to brownies and a sister who wasn’t misbehaving. I was gonna take a shower but 4 brownies in I took a little nap.”
Caleb sat all of his belongings near the door as his eyes narrowed slightly, examining Tony’s actions.
“You’ve only been home for like an hour. What happened?”
Tony was a bit caught off guard when he felt the girl wrapped her arms around him.
She wasn’t much of a physical affectionate person, especially with him just getting back from the gym. But he hugged her back as he set his gym bag neatly beside the shoe rack near the front—
— just count that as his reward for finishing up early at the gym. Though he shouldn’t ruin his appetite this early, he went ahead and caved in, taking two from the pile. Two couldn’t hurt anything, right?
“Well, look at you spoiling me. You’re actually going to do your —
