If you’re voting for Kamala because of abortion laws…
you should realize that she won’t be able to go in and change the abortion laws !!
She has been sitting VP for 2 years since the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade. This decision removed the federal constitutional protection for abortion, allowing individual states to set their own abortion laws and regulations
and since then, Kamala has done nothing to change this and would have to go through a republican congress to over turn this decision which wouldn’t happen!!
You’re voting for her because of one SYMBOLIC issue she “SAYS” she’s going to change but hasn’t for 2 years.
Some extended thoughts on #CrawfordSpence after sleeping on it.... #Boxing
1- This was one of the most complete and elite performances I've ever seen in a truly big fight with a lot on the line. (Hopkins-Trinidad, Mayweather-Corrales, Barrera-Hamed, etc)'Bud' showed that he was a more complete fighter, better athlete, and physically tougher and stronger, regardless of 'size'
2- Spence had an issue, he was never going to out-box Crawford from the perimeter, but he was getting chopped up inside when he tried to pressure him. Crawford's wiry strength is really underrated
3- Fundamentally, Crawford was superior, but he was also the more confident guy in there. I hate to play dime store psychologist but the whole week Spence looked listless and weary. While Crawford looked ready to pounce. His body language and comments were much more assertive. That doesn't always matter, but here it was telling. One individual just looked like he wanted to be there a lot more than the other.
4- Spence is a very good modern day fighter. But there's a reason why his handlers tried to delay (or flat out skirt this fight) for years. And the irony is, delaying the fight really helped Crawford (as he was allowed to grow into being a legitimate 147). Also, throughout the years, the lifestyle disparity between the two had Crawford being the most fresh -- by far -- by the time they stepped into the ring
5- Hopefully there is no rematch. I think this result and how the fight played out goes way beyond the weight class. And in an era where boxers don't fight often, I don't want to see this match-up again straight away
6- Finally, after last night, yeah, its Crawford who is 1a, and Inoue, 1b. Those two in my view are interchangable and have lapped the field this year.
