#OnThisDay in 1977 middleweight great Carlos Monzon had his 100th and final professional fight before calling it quits when he outpointed Rodrigo Valdez over 15 rounds.
Monzon had spent the last 7 years as world champion and gone unbeaten in his last 80 fights spanning 13 years.
