🔸I can’t put it into words but I love what the Warriors did yesterday. Chins up. Let’s move forward. We are rooting for you. #GoWarriorsGo#TeamZimbabwe🇿🇼
@radhoo12 Nah, just say you’re going to win it. Double down on it. Arsenal get mocked on the daily, Keep that arrogance and just stay the same as everyone else. No point now, been talking down and being disingenuous at Arsenal for years why stop now.
So someone at @Zimra_11 just wakes up under the influence of whatever, and without consulting the very people they want to tax, decides that taxpayers are not working hard enough over the 30 days in a month so let’s pile up more work on their desks every 30 days for a mere paper called a tax clearance?
Then flip-flops after being made aware of how stupid that is.
Mweyai unobata vanhu vekuZimra?
Even the adjusted requirement is unreasonable. No sane SME will formalize their business only to be burdened by Zimra continuously every 3 months for a mere tax clearance. Being an SME is enough burden on its own.
Maybe Zimra must also pay taxes and submit its own tax filings as a way to test the usefulness of their own policies.
🔸Legendary Zimbabwe Warrior, @tkapini7 has wished the #Warriors all the best for tonight’s game against Egypt. For a long time, he was our first-choice goalkeeper, appearing for the Warriors over 40 times. He had an illustrious goalkeeping club career in South Africa but not before he had performed magic for iBosso. Vechidiki havana chavakaona. Turning out for @HighlanderBosso, he once scored a goal against @capsunitedfczw from the 18 area!
He reminds the #Warriors that the battle against the #Pharoahs won’t be an easy but suggests it can be done! Urging everyone to play their part, he gives special motivation to the goalkeeping department. Bottom line - we can do this! Thank you, Tapuwa Kapini!

Yesterday I met with an old friend of mine and one of Zimbabwe’s true heroes retired #Catholic Archbishop Pius Ncube.
Archbishop Pius showed astonishing bravery between 1983 and 1985 when as a parish priest, with very little protection, he reported on terrible atrocities being committed by the 5 Brigade in rural Matabeleland. When he was later elevated to Archbishop he showed similar bravery in calling out the serious human rights abuses committed in 2000 onwards.
Archbishop Pius turns 80 next year and remains one of my own heroes. We spent a good amount of time discussing the proposed changes to Zimbabwe’s abortion laws and growing corruption in our society.
God bless and keep you Pius🙏
@richardkanongo2@advocatemahere That is why comprehension at O-level is a must. She is simply providing the players' profiles, something ZIFA has failed to do. Know your players!!"
🔸DID YOU KNOW?
Prosper Padera is a 19 year old defensive midfielder for the Warriors.
Born in Bocha, Manicaland, Padera currently plays for Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho (commonly known as SJK), a club that plays in the highest tier of the football league in Finland.
Padera lost his mother at a young age, leaving his unemployed father to raise him as a single dad in their home in Chikwariro Village in Marange district. His father recognized his son’s footballing talent and took him to Mutare and introduced him Mutare-based academy, MAJESA.
Padera’s father sadly passed away two weeks after their trip to Mutare in 2021. He was adopted by MAJESA co-directors, Charles and Nomsa Chave.
Padera played for MAJESA in the prestigious Marvelous Nakamba Foundation Under-17 invitational tournament in Bulawayo in June 2022. Padera was crowned “Player of the Tournament” owing to his outstanding midfield performance. He was immediately scouted by Prime Time Academy which was established in Harare by former Southampton striker, Dexter Blackstock.
Prime Time Academy granted Padera a full scholarship to enrol at Brooke House College Football Academy in the United Kingdom.
Padera captained England Universities during the 2023 and 2024 editions of the International Colleges World Cup in Morocco.
In December 2024, Padera secured a four-year-deal with Finnish top-flight side, Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho (SJK).
In June 2025, he represented Zimbabwe in the COSAFA Cup, earning the Man of the Match award in a 0–0 draw against Mauritius. Padera was also called up to the Zimbabwe senior national team for World Cup qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda in August 2025.
From the dusty, diamond-rich village of Marange, to playing at Nakamba’s junior tournament, to playing beside him in the men’s senior national team, Padera embodies the true Warrior spirit of Zimbabwe.
Prosper Padera. Remember his name.
