A small, secret, silent, neighbourhood bookstore in Limerick city that could go unnoticed. Find us at 11 Sarsfield Street, Limerick! V94 K330 and online at https://t.co/eZTFVDd1EF #limerick@LimerickStrand#bookshops
@MaHogansBar Hi guys, we need to chat about your outdoor speaker. It is 22.30 on a Thursday and the music is blaring. I live just up the street and it is impossible to sleep. I have a 06.00 start and it has been like this for the last few months. Can you please disconnect it.
I really enjoy being part of the organising committee of @LimerickWild - the annual Limerick Bastille Day Wild Geese Festival. We have a packed weekend of events: 15 & 16 July 2023. Hope to see many of you there. Click for the programme: https://t.co/EggSgI3Ot7 Please share ๐
@frank_oconnor@jalvarezro Throwing money at the problem isn't going to fix it. I agree @frank_oconnor it is systematic change that is necessary. If we have learned anything fromthe past it is that 50% will be wasted on surveys, 25% wasted on fees, 25% will go missing, and nothing will get done.
Date for your diary. Free walking tour. New Street, #Limerick. Sunday 3rd September 2023. Meet outside the Greenyard Cafe (Punches Cross) at 3pm. Please share.
@JLeddin Isn't it a privately owned house @JLeddin? Doesn't the council have other historical buildings in their ownership that could do with the focus of restoration working groups?
So you think peaceful protestors begging for action on #ClimateEmergency are annoying? Wait till what hit Zaragoza in northern Spain today, arrives on our doorstep
And yesterday, โCode Redโ summer storm killed 2 in Amsterdam, shut down airport, trains
@Live95fmNews@Live95Limerick@limerickcitybiz They have done nothing with the building for decades so why would we expect them to do anything with it now. You just have to look at their existing building stock to see what will happen. NOTHING.
@Live95fmNews@Live95Limerick Sorry @limerickcitybiz here it is. I hope you guys follow this development over the coming months. If history has though us anything it is the longer these surveys and talk of plans go on the less likely anything will ever happen and the building deteriorats.
@limerickcitybiz@Live95fmNews@limerickcitybiz you mention the GAS Network site in the piece, but I was under the impression that @ShannonFoynes owned the building. I wonder will they make a statement about the lack of maintenance during their ownership, and their plans to restore the building.
@FearStairLmk@Limerick_Leader@rtenews That was only a matter of time to be honest. @ShannonFoynes have allot to answer for here. Leaving the house go to ruin and now destroyed. With the funds they have at their disposal they should be forced to rebuild it to its original glory.
Delighted to have my first print piece in this weeks @Limerick_Leader
The event is to break the stigma of mental health and all proceeds will be donated to Limerick Suicide Watch.
I spoke to Fiona Griffin organiser of the event and owner of Wild Folk.
