In a year where the World was crazy thus making the playing of baseball not easy and scouting being affected etc
Marlins made out super well drafted Max Meyer in 2020
Robinson Canó Jr destaca en el showcase. 🔥
El hijo de la leyenda dominicana estuvo presente en el Alfredo Harp Helú mostrando su talento a los scouts de Grandes Ligas. Además, habló de su papá Robinson Canó y portar el jersey de Diablos. ⚾💪🏼

According to my sources, Robinson Canó Jr., son of former Major League star Robinson Canó, has agreed to a $1 million pre-agreement with the Miami Marlins. Another promising Dominican prospect making his way onto the Major League radar!

This makes no sense to me at all
So, will NPB players not be allowed to sign after the lockout? You are cutting their signing period down by 15 days which is a lot
Also if this doesn’t affect Roh(KBO 30-day signing period) and he can sign after the lockout that is unfair
MLB will not amend the posting agreement with the NPB with the upcoming lockout, requiring Japanese free agents to sign before December 1st, per @BNightengale.
In 2021 this wasn’t the case, with MLB agreeing to allow Japanese free agents to sign once the lockout was over.
Three players from Japan's NPB and one player from South Korea's KBO have been posted to sign with MLB clubs.
Itoh, Taira, and Sato from the NPB will have 45-day negotiating windows while Roh from the KBO will have a 30-day window.
@discussbaseball Credit to commentor, he is Korean American from what I can tell on his profile… so he will within in his reason and well informed to say so 😂
Si Hwan Roh has been posted. Logging 957 KBO games before the age of 26, Roh has plenty of experience while still being youthful. 153 HR, 167 2B, .810 OPS, 23.2 K%, 10.7 BB%.
My initial 2027 college draft has dropped on 80 Grade!
Headlined by two 70 FV players, the college class is as stacked with talent as ever. The prep board and big board will be released soon!
Gold Gloves are announced tonight! 8:30 on ESPN.
Looking forward to an evening of "robbed" arguments from people using the only defensive metric that fits their narrative.
Most interesting races (my pick):
AL SS: Witt/Walls
AL 2B: Massey/Meidroth/Young
NL 1B: Olson/France
NL 2B: Wetherholt/Turang
NL LF: Chourio/Happ
NL RF: Suzuki/Carroll/Benge
Most of these will be a battle of which metrics the coaches used between Statcast/DRS and internal metrics. Can't wait!
