Lunch time walk at Thorpe marshes @NorfolkWT all dogs off leads despite signs, spoke to one couple, she said her dogs would never hurt anything as they rampaged across the marsh. Studies have shown the mere presence of dogs on nature reserves disturbs wilflife! Keep it on a lead

@HantsIWWildlife Thank you. We will have to see what the hedgehog thinks. Our resident stopped coming to the feeder about a month ago (before I built the house). We hope it's hibernating not too far away

Using peat is defended by some as an anti-woke attack on individual choice and liberty. Got to get past this. Using peat does environmental harm - why would any gardener seek to defend that?. Also it is simply untrue that there are no viable alternatives. Time to get real.
