@JohnWight1 This is a huge part of it. Celtic refusing to occupy what they belive to be our place. The collapse of Rangers followed closely by the failure of the Hearts fairytale has left them crestfallen and angry because Celtic once again refused to fail. We haunt their nightmares.

The sheer scale of the venom being directed at Celtic and their fans is more than just about football. It is rooted in Scotland's baleful legacy and history of anti-Irish Catholic racism and bigotry.

We were on our knees as a community when Celtic was established in 1888. In 2026 we stand tall.

And the reason we do stand tall is largely because of Celtic, and how the club has provided us with a sense of pride in an identity that is rooted in defiance not compliance.

In the last 2 weeks Celtic had linesmen try to rule out 2 goals that were yards onside, a handball equaliser against us was allowed to stand and 2 stonewall penalties weren’t given but, the world lost its mind when we were given a penalty for a clear handball above the head. 🥴😅
