i accepted that kota ibushi would probably never wrestle again a while ago but it still hurts. a lot.

one the most batshit insane pro wrestlers of the modern era. he gave 110% every night nearly 20 fucking years and had 0 care how it affected his body.

him, omega & tanahashi are 3 wrestlers who changed my brain chemistry forever and watching the years catch up to all ofthem in different ways has been emotional to the say least.

eternally grateful ibushi got to have a final little run in 2025, he got another match with okada, he showed he still could go, he got to work one more stadium show at all in texas, he got to be ringside with kenny at all in texas, he got to team with tanahashi & kenny one last time at forbidden door.

i’ll miss this fucking maniac wrestling but i hope the rest of his life is spent painless and happy. really hope this venue project works out.

there will never be another kota ibushi. godspeed you lunatic ❤️
