@coplimited I don't think people realize the only reason they are putting this in is to close a legal loophole. They specifically have to state things like this or else any criminal can just claim that they didn't know, because it's not written down anywhere.
@Kr3st Backing out =/= going straight, cutting the entire corner and getting a 2-3 second advrange. Come on now. I get that you wanted Hamilton to win but the mental gymnastics are incredible. The best driver won this season, people should be happy with that.
@Kr3st It absolutely means it is yours. The apex has nothing to do with anything. There is no rule at all that says you need to follow the apex. The only thing that matters is whether youโre ahead or not. He was. But, if you want to talk about apexes should we bring up Silverstone too?
@Kr3st Because Lewis ran out of track and had to back out of the corner. Thatโs how racing works. If youโre ahead, the corner is yours to take and as long as the car next to you isnโt significantly ahead they have to back out. Itโs been this way since the beginning of racing.
@Kr3st That being said, the FIA made extremely questionable decisions all season (including today) that they should have to answer for. Masi should be out, imo. Way too much controversy both ways. Lewis deserved the win today, but Max deserved the championship over the season.
@Kr3st Yes, overall, Max drives fair. Iโm not going to argue that he is fair 100% of the time, but if youโre trying to win races in a slower car you need to be on the edge. Sometimes you go over. Nothing that he did today was unfair or unsportsmanlike.
@Kr3st@F1 Mercedes finally finding out how it feels to get completely fucked by the FIA. You absolutely LOVE to see it. What a fantastic result for racing as a whole.
@Kr3st@LewisHamilton I maen, everyone wants to see a race as long as their driver comes out on top. To start yelling about conspiracy theories the SECOND things don't look good is quite telling
@Kr3st@LewisHamilton Yes because a 10 sec penalty instead of a disqualification definitely shows that the FIA is not on Mercedes' side. Just stop, dude. Hamilton will win this championship but it will forever be tarnished, and rightfully so. Merc showing their true faces, finally.
@Kr3st@LewisHamilton That was a mistake, but not one that lost him the championship. Mercedes has FIA in the bag and is getting all of the help they could possibly get during the races, which is when it counts. Max gets two penalties for the same thing and Lewis rams him without penalty.
