@JesseLonis Reminds me of my grandpa. Talking about them keeps their memory alive. In the words of Ernest Hemingway, “every man has two deaths, one when they are buried in the ground and the last time someone says his same”
@gogetemtigers Couldn’t agree more… the rush of taking a tournament down (even a super deep run) is so much better than breaking a cash game though. Tournament poker is just so much more dynamic to me than cash (stack depths, icm, etc)
@JonathanLittle I study the game like mine and my girls vacation and wedding funds depend on it… so very seriously. We both have corporate jobs, but poker money is for the fun stuff. When we got together, she quickly realized poker was a winning venture, and matched my bankroll. Now we’re 50/50
@depaulo_ryan Has a dealer pure triple me up on day 3 of the main this year to put me over a milly… immediately offered to tip her. She refused and said it was against wsop policy. Better believe I slid her a piece of paper during break that just said “Venmo?”
@IAmPokerMusic@gogetemtigers@jakacoaching We tag jakacoaching during deep runs and after big scores because it really is a great community… and a lot of our success can be attributed to the coaching and community that Faraz has put together
