What housing type are you using for dairy calves?
Pair or individual housing: individual housing has OR 1.88 for disease development (n=400 calves)
Abnormal oral behaviours still happen if individually housed (⬆️ self grooming)

Pressures inside the hoof vary depending on surface cow is walking on… more pressure points on concrete & more even distribution on pasture. Rubber matting reduces but doesn’t eliminate pressure points.
These are from untrimmed feet… how does trimming influence this?

🐑 New research from the RVC has revealed the large extent of suboptimal vaccination practice in the UK sheep industry, the impact of the lack of awareness of training for farmers and it identifies the barriers they face accessing training.

Well this is an interesting email from @SRUCVets - based on 70 abortion submissions to Dumfries this year - notice Toxo higher than EAE & Listeria higher than Campylobacter - both unusual findings.
Also note significant Border/BVD numbers.
Always worth getting a diagnosis!
