Our entire school joined members of the local community to participate in today’s Remembrance Day service. We placed our wreath, laid crosses for those on the memorial and participated in a 2 minute silence.
This week our school had a fantastic time at the Halloween Disco in the Village Hall. It was lovely to see all our year groups playing games, dancing and having fun together.
We would like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to members of our local community and @WeAreBenchmark for their hard work transforming our Community Garden. We cannot wait to begin using our new raised beds grow some produce 🥬🍅🥒🥕. #CommunityEngagement
We recently had some firefighters come to visit our school. The entire school enjoyed learning about what working as a firefighter is like, and how we can stay safe on Bonfire Night. We also had fun exploring the fire engine and using the hose! #community@fire_scot

Last week P4/5 had a fantastic morning with @trashfreetrails and @ComrieCroftBike. The children completed a litter pick, looked for various species of plants and animals, and did some mountain biking.
Today was our final after school session at Braco Bowling Club. We have had such a fantastic time during our visits, and we really appreciate all the guidance and pointers that the members have given us. A huge ‘thank you’ to the club for making us feel so welcome.

Our whole school trip to the beach in St. Andrew's was action packed! Beach football, hunting for sea slugs in the rock pools, lots of paddling, daily mile on the sand, catching mainly seaweed in nets, jumping gigantic waves and some slightly sandy sandwiches! What a fun day out!
What a fantastic, inspiring afternoon had with our visiting author John Fardell learning all about how he writes and illustrates his wonderful stories.

Week three of Bikeability across the school and we’ve been blown away by the children’s cycling skills! A special well done to P6/7 for being such responsible riders on the road and being experts at the slowest-cyclists race! @BikeabilityUK@CyclingScotland
