It’s hard to define “progressive” but it seems to me you shouldn’t label yourself as such if you don’t think that decent housing and healthcare and food etc are human rights.
I can't wait to see the progressives of the Dem party challenge biden on policy ground; his neoliberal policy won't be enough. That is where the actual people need to step in to challenge him as well.
If you are a progressive or someone who feels dejected because bernie lost a second time you need to vote for biden. If trump wins a second term there will be nothing holding him back but if biden wins he will be expected to implement policy that is up to the problems we face.
Republicans are culturally disgusted by trump and find bernie Sanders agenda of wealth redistribution materials reprehensible. The Lincoln project mob wants to continue austerity with a smile on their faces--"honorable". #WhyRepublicansAreJumpingShip
@carmeloanthony@Socialchangefnd The police unions are so powerful yet black and brown workers are rarely unionized. 1 of the reasons that black citizens are the targets of violence is because of their absolute poverty--not dismissing racism. The imoral actions of the state against the black community must end.
Bernie sanders has nina turner, cornel west, aoc and ilhan omar.
Trump has Mike pence, kellyanne conway, charlie kirk etc.
Who does biden have?--kamala harris, beers tanden?
In order for the american left to truly gain power the labor movement in the us needs to be strong. Right now the billionaire class is multiple times more powerful than labor. I think that state law makers can a difference on this end. #endrighttowork
